changing graphics to word links

Hello again, I am trying to change the graphics when you go into the catalogue sections to words instead. When you add a product in the admin page it asks you for a catagory image. I want to change that so it just says the company name or product.

When you assign a new Category or Sub-Category to 'Catalog' in osC admin it does ask you for an image. However, there is another setting 'image required' which is set to 'true' by default. By changing this to 'false' you will see just the text description of your Categories/Sub-Categories.

 

You'll find the setting under Configuration --> Images

Thanks again, your awsome. I should have figured that one out. Now I just need to fix the image size so they all show up the same without being distorted.

Just set the Small Image Width and leave the Small Image Height blank. It will ratio the height to the width and images won't be distorted.

I have done that. I have the width set to 100 and spaced out the number for the height, but I still get distortions. Should I use a contribution?
