database.php fatal error

I am getting the following error when clicking on one of the items in the information box. I edited the conditions box to read payment methods and probably altered something accidentally but don't know what.

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared in /hsphere/local/home/efootbal/e-football.com.au/catalog/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /hsphere/local/home/efootbal/e-football.com.au/catalog/includes/functions/database.php on line 13

 

The code is

 

function tep_db_connect($server = DB_SERVER, $username = DB_SERVER_USERNAME, $password = DB_SERVER_PASSWORD, $database = DB_DATABASE, $link = 'db_link') {
