aasoft Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 I am pretty new at all of this but I have managed to get through setup and connect to the database I created. The problem is that when I view the site none of the images load. Any help will be appreciated.

aasoft Posted October 19, 2005 Author Posted October 19, 2005 Sorry, when the pages load there are just broken image links. As if the images didn't load. But when you look at the properties of one of the images and copy the address for it to the browser a page with the image loads fine. Right now it is just set up as the default install so I haven't changed anything. I can add items to the cart, perform searchs, etc. It seems like the site is working except that none of the images appear. It depends on the browser as to what exactly appears. IE just shows an x, firefox a box with a broken picture in the corner, and safari shows just an empty box where the image should be. Each one displays the alternate text correctly for when the image doesn't display but that is it. Oscommerce is set up on a windows xp machine not mac just in case the safari thing was confusing.
