FixItPete
Hi, I know I'm running an older version of this contrib. I'd like to upgrade it, but I really don't know how since there have been sooooo many mods made to the store since. I would like to fix the following problem: When I do a view page source of an item page I get this: <META NAME="Description" Content=""Love You Heart Candle - Red > for the meta name. Shouldn't it look like this: <META NAME="Description" Content="Love You Heart Candle - Red"> Is there a fix for this so I can still keep this version? If anyone knows how to do an "upgrade" to the new version without me banging my head agaisnt my desk... that would be great too, but I would settle to just keep the search engines happy and fix this one thing. :) (Oh! And if there are any other problems that I should be dealing with... that would be awesome, this is the only one I can see, after reading the "fixes" that the new versions do...) Thanks, Pete Quote I find the fun in everything.
Jack_mcs
I don't recall anyone reporting that problem but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The code for that tag is in includes/header_tags.php so you can check it there. You might want to look at the support thread for Header Tags since a few people have asked lately about how to upgrade. You may be able to figure it out from there. FixItPete
Hi Jack! Thanks! It turns out this is happening because I have quotes (") in my title field. Any idea how to deal with this? Pete Quote I find the fun in everything.
Jack_mcs
It might work if you use the ascii value although the SE's will most likely strip them so it won't do any good.
