Guest
I nearly had it, but it didn't translate to the catalog for some reason. Erg Basically I made the varchar for the attribute description 100 characters so that I could add an image tag with an image's url. The image would show up upon update in the attribute section of the admin, but when I went to look at it in the catalog, it showed the whole img tag instead of the image. Any ideas? I sell T-shirts with embroidery on them and I would like my customers to be able to see what the colors look like. For instance, Lime would have a small icon of the color lime. Wendy James
There is an options as images contribution already written. Maybe that would do what you need or give you an idea? Guest
There is an options as images contribution already written. Maybe that would do what you need or give you an idea? Do you know where it is? I am looking at using the Option Type Feature to add text boxes for personalization and special instructions, but using the radio button option to add color images to the page would still make things bulky on the page if I have 20 T-shirt colors to choose from. I like the drop down menu idea with the icon in it. Anything? Anyone? --Christy
Wendy James
http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,1467 Never seen a drop down with icons in it. not sure you can do that. You could always make small images of each option and add a table with them and the option name to your product description so people can see them. Even though that is pretty much the same thing as the contribution I just linked. Then just use the regular drop down for them to choose from.
