Simi Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I'd like to add the option of gift wrapping into the cart. Is this possible to do without having to add a sparate category for it?
Wendy James Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 You could set it up as an option for each item. Wendy James Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

Thanks for the quick response Wendy. :) Where in the admin would I find how to do that? Never mind. I just found it. :) Now I just have to figure out how to set it up.

Is this part of the standard OSC2.2M2? Thanks.

You have to go to each item individually and add the option. You need to set up two options. One for yes and one for no. If you are going to charge for gift wrapping, you have to add the price to the value.

I am trying to make "No" as the first option displayed (and hence becomes the de facto "default") but I am unable to do so.

In option values, set no as the first one, yes as the second.
klho Posted October 20, 2005 Posted October 20, 2005 I had to do that also.In option values, set no as the first one, yes as the second. I have tried. It seems that Product Attributes module has nind of its own when it is deciding how to display the product attribute values. Can't seem to influence the order in any predictable manner. Any further help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

GraphicsGuy Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 This contribution is for setting a sort order for options within an attribute (i.e. the problem of setting "no" to be the first option in a yes/no attribute): Sort Option Values Module 1.0 hth Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
