download problem

Help,

First I set up my download according to the knowledge base settings.

 

I have a couple of things going on that I don't understand.

 

I have a website that sell things to ship and downloads. I did a test purchase of a download and going through checkout shipping was being added to the price and should be zero added shipping. The next thing is that I processed the order and when I logged back into my account to download the image I couldn't find any link to download the file. I must be missing some setting but don't know what to do. os is there a tutorial that I can use to get this working right.

 

The orders for items that I ship works great

We are having the same file. After purchasing the song and logging back, there is no download link or any pop up to be able to download the purchased item.

I couldn't find it either. I search for the phrase "Enable downloads after purchase" in ALL forums, and this thread is the ONLY thing that showed up. Boy, I sure would like to know wehre that other thread was, so I could go get my problems solved... If anybody has the onclination to help out, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Go into your catalog/admin and enter the configuration area and you'll see download. Click on it and enable it. You will have to setup the attributes which is under the Admin/catalog then click on Products Attributes.

If you download the Downloads_Controller you will have alot better control over your downloads. Be aware that all contributions are used at your own risk. So backup before using it.

I need you to be more specific as to where this side two is located If you read my earlier post I have already enabled downloads in the admin so I really don't know which title your taliking about or where it located
