Seperate Pricing for Two Countries

Is there a way to set up two different product prices for two different Countries. Not based on the exchange rate or a percentage. I've looked for a contribution but only found 'Seperate Prices for Customers' nothing for seperate prices for Countries.

Another problem is when checking out in US dollars the GST comes up which is a Canadian Tax even though the tax rate in Administration for United States is set to 0.

There is only one price field in the dbase for the products price. If you want to setup just a percentage difference based on countries then that's something that is doable. Otherwise you're looking for 2 separate catalogs so a multi-store contribution would be better.

Thanks Mark!! Would you know what the Contribution would be called? I searched for "Multi Store" and got nothing under that.

I found and downloaded Multi-Stores v1.7

Would you know if I would be able to set this up so that is someone selects US currency they will go to one store with pricing and seperate shipping costs as well and if Canada is selected they will go to another store with different pricing and shipping costs and taxes as well.

Appreciate your help!!

Hello George, I searched for multi-store

here is one,

had the same problem and decided to go with completely different catalogs because the manufacturer had different prices for countries and there was no percentage relationship with currency. I tried the multi-store before but I eventually I found it faster to go with different catalogs and deploy a couple of links for the different stores. Requires more maintenance with separate catalogs though.

Edit: well that's the idea but never got that far as I decided to go with separate stores effectively.

Hi Mark

How did a customer go from one store to the other? It must of been by selecting currency type.

Does this Contribution make the link or did you install the link?

no, since the catalogs are different the currencies can be different and so the prices. So I just placed a drop-down list for countries on my store.
