Help with a line of php please

Hi,

 

i am getting this error because i altered something in my /includes/languages/english/index.php file:

 

Parse error: parse error in /var/www/html/shop/includes/languages/english/index.php on line 13

 

I think that the solution is probably very simple, but i am just learning php. Can anyone help?

I'm sure you do not need the default osC text anyway ... so replace it by this exmaple and then go from there to modify it:

you have not escaped the single quotes ... which is weird as default osC has it!

 

Have you used the admin file manager by any chance? It's buggy!

i am totally lost now. nothing is showing on the page. the file manager flips back to the /index.php file and i replaced it with what should be in the other page i was working on. is there a way to reverse this?

stop using it immediately

 

download a clean osC zip from this site, and replace any files you have already corrupted by using it

 

only use FTP for editing, download a file, edit it and reupload it
