no admin emails

Hello,

Most of the emails are being sent out - new user, tell a friend, orders (to customer and admin), they are all being sent fine. But whenever I go to send an email from the admin panel (customer > email or mail gift voucher), it doesn't send. I don't get any kind of errors and it says the email has been successfully sent to that address. For the gift voucher emails, the gift voucher is created and everything, just the email never gets to where it is suppose to go.

I have played around with the settings under email options but I am figuring this is not anything to do with it since all of the other emails are being sent fine.

I have installed the gift voucher and register_globals off contributions.. everything else regarding them works fine.

I have tried a few different email accounts from hotmail to my domain name account and turned off all the spam blocking things, checked the junkbox and there is no sign of the emails.. I don't see why it would block them and not the others anyway.

 

I'm no expert but I thought maybe it was the email function in admin/includes/functions/general.php so I took the function tep_mail() from catalog/includes/functions and copy/pasted to the admin one, but that didn't help so I changed it back. (admin)/includes/classes/email.php also seem to be exactly the same.

Does anyone have any other ideas? :\
