nhermanc Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I wish to sell downloads of short movies that I've made myself. There will be no physical product shipped. After confirm of payment the user will be given access to a link to download the movie. I'm assuming that osCommerce can handle this and I've just somehow missed the instructions in the documentation. I have searched under various terms like "downloads" but can't find anything.

erima Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I was wondering if you found a way to handle inputting the file to be downloaded. Currently, I have several thousand downloads that I want to sell (web templates) and they are all in .zip format. Ideally I would like to be able to simply add a product attribute called "download name" in easy populate, and import that files from a spread sheet rather than inputting them one at a time. When I do import them one at a time, I lose the ability right now to back up the data to exportable format since each download is it's own attribute which quickly becomes too large for easy populate to handle in it's stock configuration. I'd appreciate any help you can offer. grady Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Eric - did you ever find a way to do this? I'm also trying to tag thousands of items with the download attribute, filename, etc... Would be great to have a script to do it automatically.
