Order status problem

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I seem to have a minor problem with my order status, its nothing major and does not seem to be causing any problems, its just annoying more than anything. My default order status has a value of 1. Even with no orders pending it says Pending order 1. I think this was caused when our server crashed while a user was creating an order. I've done all the obvious things like deleting that user account, deleting his orders, creating a new user with the same name to see if it will like to the rogue order etc. I can't delete the order status field as it says that it is in use or has an order in it (or something similar.) So it seems that I need to modify this value in the database, but I can't exactly find where it is. I can find the table that lists my order status options as I can just search for those strings, but I can't see anything obious to edit to reduce this value 1 back to zero. I have found some formula or strings that control writting to the value, but not that actual value anywhere.

Could somebody possible help me out with this one. I've searched the forum extensively, but couldn't find anything similar.

Thanks Nick.

You should probably change them in your actual database. Go into PHP My Admin and click on orders_status database.. when you are Browsing it you should see the options to edit the order numbers associated with each status.

That might help..
