Njuwdaij
I would like to disable people to create an account. I am using OScommerce as a B2B shop, and do not want consumers to be able to log in and see prices. (I've already disabled seeing prices without logging in) Does anybody know how to do this?
♥Vger
If people don't create an account then how do you expect them to buy online? Or don't you want them to buy online? If that's the case why use a Shopping Cart? Vger

So: I do not want other people (besides the B2B customers I give log in codes myself) to be able to create an account.
♥Vger
You create an index.html splash page which people use to contact you and sign up. You place the osCommerce website in a folder e.g. catalog and make that folder Password Protected. Only people who register via the html splash page can get a User Name and Password to access the osCommerce site and use its features. GraphicsGuy
Or there is this contribution that allows you to approve accounts before they can login. That way they could enter their account information, then you would approve or dissaprove it. Only those you approve would have the ability to login and see the prices or proceed to checkout. Control Login Rule #1: Without exception, backup your database and files before making any changes to your files or database. Rule #2: Make sure there are no exceptions to Rule #1.
