'Connection' error during installation

Everytime I want to install os commerce I get the following error:

 

 

 

A test connection made to the database was NOT successful.

 

The error message returned is:

 

Access denied for user: '[email protected]@srv61.flexwebhosting.nl' (Using password: YES)

 

Please click on the Back button below to review your database server settings.

 

If you require help with your database server settings, please consult your hosting company.

 

 

I think I have correctly filled in al the data, but still it can not connect to the database :blink:

 

 

This is a screenshot of my database name + IP of the server on which it is hosted:

 

 

 

And this is the data that I fill in:

 

 

 

And it doen't matter if I use IP address of the server, or hostname

 

if I use the username, with or without the domain behind

 

if I use "webshop" as database name, or "momdj_com_-_webshop"

 

 

 

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

You use "momdj_com_-_webshop" as database name, and you are using the Ensim Control Panel so it's likely your site is using the RedHat Enterprise Linux operating system, so the database server should be "127.0.0.1" (the ip address for "localhost").

 

User Name would be momdj

 

Change the tick box for sessions from Files to Database.
