Organising Attributes

Am I the only person who finds the process of adding attributes to store items to be such a pain?

After spending 10 minutes typing in all the attributes I want to use, I then have to apply each of these attributes to every item in my store (all items have pretty much the same attributes). Once I've done all that, I foind that the order in which the attributes are displayed are not the same as I enter them.

Does anyone have any tips for speeding up this process?

Is there a way of telling the store which order to display attributes in the combo boxes?

I find it a pain too. That's why I checked out EasyPopulate in the Contributions section. I'm still trying to get it to work but when it does, I won't have that attribute problem anymore. You can create your attributes and all other product info in an excel sheet and then upload it to your server. It will save a huge amount of time and energy.

I was also wondering if there was a way to group attributes. I have 13 pricing options for each product. I should be able to set up the 13 options, set that as one group and apply that to each product. Now, I have to apply all 13 to each product individually.
