What is the easiest FTP program?

I am extremely technically challenged, so I need an easy FTP program. Right now, after doing much researching of them last night, I am thinking maybe WS_FTP. The cost or anything else doesn't matter, just how easy it is to learn and use.

Before you do any changes on your site you need to do BACKUP! BACKUP!

Free would be great, but the all-important thing is if it is simple, self-explanatory, all that. Back many years ago when I first started using the computer and made a website, I tried three different ones and couldn't learn any of them. I think they were WS_FTP, CuteFTP, and maybe SmartFTP. I finally gave up and have been using my websites' File Managers ever since. But this osCommerce thing is forcing me to try again!

Will look at all those you have mentioned and see how they seem.

FlashFXP is real good too. It was recommended to me awhile back and I love it.

We posted at about the same time....yours is free I'll have to check it out. My trial is almost up.

FlashFXP looks great, so I'm going to try that. There is a free 30-day trial and after that it is only $25.00. Much cheaper than WS_FTP.

I read on several websites that Leech is no longer developed or supported by the author. Also that it has quite a few limitations. I appreciate your offer, though, Wade, to e-mail it to me. But I need something where I can get official support!

Many thanks to both of you,

Greta
