Guest Posted October 15, 2005 Share Posted October 15, 2005 When customers come to buy, our osC generates an immediate 'thank you' email. ...our bank wants we send our 'product' immediately & we want to do it too! .............(we sell PIN #s for services) ...but maybe the bank hasn't approved their purchase yet... or at all ! ~~~> How do we ~~~>Delay<~~~ the 'thank you' email until the electronic message from the bank comes into our server? :blush: Thanks Everybody! :rolleyes: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nana Posted October 15, 2005 Share Posted October 15, 2005 do you have the code to recive the approval from your bank? comment out the tep_mail function in checkout_process.php put a little thankyou note with the pin# and send it to the customer when the bank sends you the approval. When you speak of the "code," do you mean a sample of the bank's message to us? Or is there some "code" we need "to receive the approval from (our) bank. No, we do not know how to capture & 'eat' a message from the bank. How to do this, please, automatically? We cannot imagine doing this manually. Nobody can afford to do it, anymore. Somebody else in the osC community must need to wait for a bank approval before shipping...I would think... It only makes sense and not everybody does "manual," post processing anymore...
