cardsup
How can I achieve a short URL for a search? Right now when a search with keyword "bird" is made, the URL is: advanced_search_result.php?search_in_description=1&keywords=bird&x=0&y=0 I need it to be: bird_somethingelse.html I could not find a contribution that can do this... cardsup
For a start if you want an html result you need to install something like Ultimate SEO contribution Thanks! I have a similar contribution installed and it works fine, but not for the Search pages. From what I've seen the Ultimate SEO contribution does not have that option either...Or am I wrong? Guest
maybe if you use some sort of cache and store the search results you could generate static links the next time the same search criteria is met. But with a blank form you cannot do it directly. Active scripting is filtered by SE and if you do a redirect is not a good idea.
