Guest Posted October 14, 2005 Share Posted October 14, 2005 This is my first e-commerce site and first time with osCommerce too. I'm using STS contribution and free template. Integration was not that tough as I expected but still took me hours. :P Well, being an amateur and untalented artist, this is how it looks like at the moment : http://www.nadashop.com Contents are halfway uploaded, still awaiting approval from site owner. Also, merchant account is being processed by the bank. I have few issues with the design at the moment. First, the horizontal menu, when users are logged in, it comes out as "My Account | Log Off". I cannot find how to get rid of "|" in order to make it fits into the menu bar. On the catalog side, when catalog page is viewed, there is unknown image trying to appear but failed on the right. I'm not sure where that comes from. Overall, the site is 50% ready, I'm rushing to get the contents style through CSS done. We are hoping that the site can go live in 2-3 weeks. I had a problem, maybe just me and my browser (IE) when I go to Catalogue, the following product 'Summerset Rediscover Life Card' is shown however, the image popup does not work. So how many products do you have? because I can only find the one. Anyway its a nice looking site and just have to complete some empty sections. Guest Posted October 18, 2005 Share Posted October 18, 2005 thank you guys yes at the moment, the shop owner only gave me one product. other products details yet to be finalised. that's why i had the catalog pointed to the only product. i agree that i need to express more what's being offered on the site. empty sections, they have been drafted but i have not received approval from the shop owner. and we are also still waiting from the merchant bank. i can't wait to see how the payment system being integrated soon. the layout is really helped by STS contribution. but somehow i still find it slow to load thou. at the back end, i've installed orders editor, planning to install fancy invoices contributions soon. i'm still looking around for necessary mods to be installed. hard work doing all this with my little knowledge of html and php. learning but "copy and paste" is the easiest way that i can see! again, will update you on the progress! hopefully can go live by next week!
