kunal247
I am using easypopulate to update products. When i use just the Model, Price & Qty file to update pricing from by suppliers. The file I get from them has some products that we dont sell hence not listed in our database. When i upload the file using easypopulate it updates the prices and stock levels of the product that are in the database and for the one that are not it creates a new product. How is this happening? I was underthe impression if the product name is not included a product will not be added to the system. if not How can I set it up to do this? Also currently now there are a lot more products listied in the databse that that are live in the store. What is the best way to clear these products. ozEworks
No easypopulate updates a product if present and if not creates it. Just as it creates a category if it is not there either. You need to modify easypopulate to not create a product. If you have products flagged as out of stock and you don't want them then it is best just to delete them through Admin. That way you can be sure all the right table relationships are maintained.

Any idea How to modify easypopulate inorder to stop adding new products if product name is not included? Kunal
