Help please with cell padding

Ok..this may be a silly question and I know it is going to be somewhere totally obvious to change this but this is my dilema.

I have totally gotten rid of the right column on every page of the catalog, now each page I bring up has what I think is obvious cell padding on the right hand side. There is probably 2-3 inches of white space on the right side of every page that is brought up in my store. How can I get rid of this white space and stretch each page over to the right margin.

I would just comment out the include for that right hand column.. like so:

<?php #require(DIR_WS_INCLUDES . 'column_right.php'); ?>

The key is the # in front of require. You will have to do this on many many pages...

I have commented out the right column on every page. The problem is...there is still about 2-3 inches of padding on the right side. If I could post a picture, I could explain better :(

Actually, here is a picture of it.

No matter what changes I make to my pages, I still have that white space.

=( I am sorry... I wish I could help you more. I have a black background and when I commented out the left hand column it just left black space there. Maybe it has to do with where your background is set?
