VKBrookeWilliams
Every product I put on the website through the admin section automaticly goes into the "New Products for October" box. I don't want that to happen because I have been selling some of theses items for years. PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!! :D
♥Vger
'New Products' remain New Products in the New Products module until there are more newer products than the number of products you have set to appear in the New Products module. You can reduce the number that appear (default is 9), by editing it in your osC admin panel, under Configuration --> Maximum Values --> New Products Module Vger
BodyTags
I put a 0 in there, hoping that the whole table would go away ... I am trying to delete the entire thing ... it looks odd with the main categories contrib (put pics and cat. title on front page). But there is still the 'heading' New products or whtever I just want to get rid of it Thanks
knifeman
Here is another option: I changed the text from 'new items' to 'Featured items'. Then I can go into the DB and change the listing dates of whatever products I want to appear in the box.

The place you edit the information for the product? Thanks!
Mediajuggle
you can also try replacing the "New Products" with the "Featured Products" contribution so that you can set what products you want to appear. You can still call them "new products" if you so choose... In this file: catalog/includes/languages/english/products_new.php change the words new items to whatever you want the box to be labelled. The Db is the database. Accessible from phpmyadmin. Browse the products table and change the date of when a product was added to todays date and it will be in the new products table. Also you can add new products, go in and back date them so they do not show up in the new products table. Tim
