paulgosden Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 Hi there, Have scowered the forums for hours, but still having problems with orders not being processed correctly, with Paypal. I have installed the latest IPN and configured my paypal to return automatically etc etc with the path back to my web site in the URL. I have also installed the held orders contribution to show orders made but not finished. However I have just ordered myself a product and again it just sits there saying payment pending(i.e. the default held order status) It even emails me an email with a link with no order number on the end, and it certainly does not update the status once the payment has gone thought. I know that I came back to the site correctly!!!! Can someone please confirm the following, 1) What exactly do I need to turn on in my Paypal account and what URL do I need to direct to after the sale is complete. Its is currently checkout_sucess.php 2) Should paypal change my status to another one once the payment has been ok?ed, and it this all automatic? Also how long does this generally take 1 sec or 1 day etc. 3) At what point should it email the customer of a successful transaction? As just done another test order and got nothing this time!!!!!
