cliffhanger9 Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 Hi all, I'm looking at creating an online shop but have never doneso before (worked with transaction systems). Obviously, starting up a new shop i m looking for a good product that is cheap (free/opensource) and reliable. I'm come across osCommerce and am very interested but I honestly dont even know what i m looking for having never done this. I guess I m looking for general resources on this subject to learn things about security(SSL), credit card payments, etc. As a web developer for several years and an application developer as my day job, I have experience with SQL and PHP so I'm hoping this won't be to difficult to implement but I'm interested to know more about how to get started and hear some other peoples stories or suggestions..
