buzza_gts Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Just contacted my web hosting company regarding this error message: FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it! The hosting company has informed me that register_globals is enabled. I located the register globals patch in the contributions but the .txt file says that this patch is for new installations only? Anyone have any advice on how to resolve this? Thanks.

In fact I went to some considerable effort to write some long-winded instructions so you can install it over the top of existing patches.
