Guest Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 I have read a lot about CHMOD on other severs. Is there a good description of how to do it that someones know on a windows box? I can get things to work by playing with the permissions of the root folder and making everything WRITE enabled, but I am sure this opens up some security problems. ♥Vger Posted October 13, 2005 Share Posted October 13, 2005 On a Windows box you'll probably find that ALL of your files use 644 as their setting That's Read and Write for the Owner, and Read for both Group and User.
