squeakstar
hi chaps, nearing completing my oscommerce site to put online and wanting to iron out a few bits and bobs... First off though i'm running the site on the latest version mysql/php/apache compilation of xaamp, just so you know... When i have no banners ie i've deleted them all through the admin page, the afrorementioned banner/admin page produces the following error 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-20, 20' at line 1 select banners_id, banners_title, banners_image, banners_group, status, expires_date, expires_impressions, date_status_change, date_scheduled, date_added from banners order by banners_title, banners_group limit -20, 20 [TEP STOP] Is this normal? as i don't want banners at the initial launch of the website i can live with it for the time being but would like the option of implementing them at a later date. i also got this error or very similiar when i first started and removed all the default products from the installation, through the categories/products admin page. this then required me to reinstall and add some products before deleting the default ones to get round it. when i have my site properly hosted would i still get these type of errors in these situations?
