Sid04
The admin side seems to be ok with no changes.....should I still update the admin config file also? Is there anything special I need to do if I switch from shared hosting to using my own SSL cert?

skifter
Here's some info: Making it short - so just reply with questions. :P 1. To use your own cert you ned your own server. 2. OR in ISP that alows multiple IP's on their hosts. (not common) 3. It you have your own host you need to tell what web server you are using. Let me know some more and i'll get back. -- Skifter And suddenly it all went black......
Sid04
When I said "my own" SSL, I meant one a purchased instead of a shared one used through my webhost.
skifter
You mean an SSL certificate right ? You can only have one SSL certificate per IP address on a server. So if you want to buy a certificate for domain.xx from, say freessl.com / rapidssl.com or thawte or verisign you almost certainly need your own server. Either a full server or a virtual server. Please state your web server next time. :) -- Skifter And suddenly it all went black......
Sid04
you dont need your own server for a SSL cert, just a dedicated IP.
