thessrtech Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 (edited) This happened after I moved everything from store/catalog to just /catalog and now it's saying I have an illegal template directory. what causes this? Nevermind I fixed it :-" Does anyone know how to change the colors of the BTS Templates? Is it in the /catalog stylesheet or is it in the /catalog/template/ stylesheet? I have downloaded one on another computer of mine...so I don't have it right now. But I am sure if you look up stock sheet...there is one listed on the forum or contributions somewhere. It is kind of like a guide where to change logo, colors, moving margins... etc. The wording is alittle different than our bts template...but the words are close enough in similarity...that I was able to figure it out. I still have not figured out why my computer is throwing illegal template at me...but if someone knows...please respond. Quote

Oh...I forgot to mention you make all your changes to your bts template in your catalog/templates/CSS-fluid-1/.......stylesheet, main_page.tpl.php and main_layout.css folders. Again if you have a basic stock sheet...you should be able to figure out where everything goes. The words are very similar. Just make sure you backup or save a copy of the file you are changing...in case you make a mistake you can't fix. This way you can always copy and paste back to original if you have to. Quote

Okay...I figured out why I got illegal template directory. When I made CSS-fluid-1 my default page...I copied and pasted from the address bar into the MY STORE part....so this what i originally put: index.php?tplDir=CSS-fluid-1 ...in the box to make it my default page. What I should of put was just .... CSS-fluid-1. Also if you accidentially mistype the template directory name, you will see the error message: Illegal Template Directory! Just in case anyone runs into the same problem. I knew it was something simple...but just could not figure out what I did. I am breathing a sigh of relief:) Quote
