Mr. Avalanche Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 (edited) I was originally going to do a flat rate shipping but have decided to do suppplies also, Seeing the major weight differences and no chance of flat rate eshipping now so I need an idea of comic book weight per comic. Anyone have a comic weight or working weight formula per price? Any help would be appreciated. Edited October 12, 2005 by Mr. Avalanche Quote
dynamoeffects Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 Assuming you put it the comic book in an envelope, I'd guess an ounce, so you can mail it for $0.49. Well before envelope and all is what I need when your in admin area it asks for prodicts weight so it then can add them all up when lets say the person is done ordering 40 comics and give a shipping price on total weight. Gonzogoose Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 In a related question, since it's about the same store, is there a way to set a base weight that you don't have to enter every time? I've looked through the documentation and did a search on the forums and couldn't find anything about it. Thanks. Quote
dynamoeffects Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Avalanche: There's no reason to get more accurate than an ounce. Remember, you also have to cover your packaging costs. Gonzogoose, you could run this MySQL statement (at your own peril): UPDATE products SET products_weight = '2.00' WHERE products_weight = '0.00'; That'll set every product without a weight set to 2lbs.
