Table shipping, more than one?

Hi there

 

Just wondering, with the table rate shipping, or any other shipping, for that matter, is it possible to create a second one? so that for example i can say: ship by method 1: ?XX and ship by method 2:?XX but basically im just putting in different calculations in the table to have these two values. Is it done just by copying the table.php file? What other files should I amend/add to?

 

if there's another thread on this please do point me in the right direction, i've tried searching with no luck! :(

Take a look at this contribution It will give you an idea how to duplicate an existing shipping module. This one is for zones but I believe there is a similar one for tables (search the contribution section for 'additional shipping').

There are many contributions for offering more than one rate. Should scan through the contribution are and see if something else would work for what you need. :)
