genxian
Hello community, My name is Brandon and I am having some difficulties using the Product Attribute system in osCommerce. The products I am selling are very customizable, and include on average 3 dropdown attributes with 5 to 10 options in each dropdown. With some 60 products and an average of 20-30 options per product it is completely unfeasible to add them one by one using the default Product Attribute system. Is there a way to create a set of attributes. For example, every item I sell is embroidered and the buyer needs to select a font. There are 10 fonts to choose from. So each product needs a dropdown with 10 fonts in it. Can I create the fonts dropdown set and just add that dropdown to every product? Also, once the user has completely customized the product and click buy all of this info needs sent to paypal. I am assuming most people that use osCommerce with paypal just send like a order ID with price to paypal. Then when they receive paypal payment they can match the order ID with an order ID inside of osCommerce to see what needs to be packaged and delivered? Right now the paypal site I have done by hand concatenates all of the product options in to one string and submits that string with the price etc to paypal. You can see the website (under construction not finished) at http://www.sewsentimental.com/SSV4/index.html I would like the full functionality of a shopping cart, but I cannot switch to osCommerce with the product attribute problems I mentioned above. Thanks, Brandon
