Guest Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 I need to modify this csv of 6672 records for use with Easy Populate. It doesn't appear to be opening up correctly in Excel. If I open it in Word, at least I can see the commas, and verify that the file makes sense as a csv, but Excel must be interpreting it wrong. So far, I have determined that the 'description' field seems suspect, as Excel begins loading descriptions into the other columns... I know I have to change the column headers, but how do I add the 'product_model', and the eoreor column, if I can't open it in Excel?? Then I save from Excel2K as Text (Tab-Delimited). When I Import that file ('Import fromTemp Dir') it appears to get through all 1337 items (it's only 6672 when the file is messed up), but only one item appears in my catalog. Below is a sample of what I see after I hit 'Insert into DB'.
