lee30
First of all I would like to thank OSCommerce for such a valuable shopping cart tool. Before I used a cgi script as a shopping cart but it was so slow and difficult to modify. With OSCommerce I am able to manage all my products with ease via the simple control panel, and there is always support via this site should I ever get in to trouble. I have just finished my new store ThailandUnique.com and I am now in the process of adding all my products to it. Any suggestions, feedback or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Lee

Regards, Lee I have seen this template used before - one thing that jumps out at me is that when I click on a category you have the title "categories" where it should say "products". Sorry your products don't appeal to me :o
lee30
I have seen this template used before - one thing that jumps out at me is that when I click on a category you have the title "categories" where it should say "products". Thank you dandelion for taking a look at my site, and thanks for pointing out the "categories" title, I didn't notice that one myself. Sorry your products don't appeal to me No problem, our shop provides the most unique products that are hard to find and normally not found anywhere else on the net. These products will not appeal to everyone but that's ok because everyone has different tastes, it would be a boring world if we were all the same. hampton
I like the site I would remove any empty categories because that is anoying you can put them back later... or get a contribution that sends you to something else instea for example "Product not found but look at this"

I will look at removing the empty catagories and add them later. Any ideas where that contribution would be? Thanks, Lee
gpineda8
Lee: I really like the design. Doesn't look like OSC at all. You really put a lot of work into it huh? Good luck. Who's your target audience by the way? Guy Thanks hampton, that's a good idea. I will look at removing the empty catagories and add them later. Any ideas where that contribution would be? Thanks, Lee

Any ideas where that contribution would be? Thanks, Lee there is an enable/disable category contribution so you can just mark the category in your admin so it won't be shown. Here's a link to the contribution

Regards, Lee You still have the german and spanish languages as options but the language doesn't change when you click on them. I would suggest removing the flags even if you plan to use them in the future untill you have the pages written in the respective languages. I love the site though and I'm not a very big fan of thai either. :D

Who's your target audience by the way? Guy Thanks Guy, I guess my target audience is for all ages, the adventurous, people looking for something different, people looking to try unique foods etc or just someone looking for an unusual gift. You still have the german and spanish languages as options but the language doesn't change when you click on them. I would suggest removing the flags even if you plan to use them in the future untill you have the pages written in the respective languages. I love the site though and I'm not a very big fan of thai either. Thanks Stouffers3, I'm currently working on the other two languages item by item, it's taking time but will be finished soon. nice site, full descriptions on all the products and it looks very professional. Hope you don't mind me asking but what template did you use? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to where I purchased the template, do a google search for oscommerce templates and it will be a site near the top. It was well worth purchasing a template because it helps make the site look more professional and unique. Anyway thanks everyone for their feedback, it is much appreciated. keguira
Hye, I'm sorry but i'm a noob. I would want to know how to change the presentation of the products in the center. I see that you change the original presentation (1 object per line) to a simplest one (2/lines and price under the picture). Is there someone here to explain me what you did it ? I read tips & triks and a big part of the doc .. but i lose .. thanks. yes, my language is very poor. I'm sorry of this too :-"
