Zone / State Problem

I have noticed a problem and I am not the only one suffering with it, in fact all sites i have looked at have the problem!!

 

If you select certain states/zones/counties from the zone list you get an error

 

Please select a state from the States pull down menu.

 

And i am not talking about typing in the state, i am selecting it from the list, here is one that i know fails but there are others as well. Go try this on your own site;

 

Create a new user account, and select Germany as the country, type in a load of gibberish in the state to get the drop down list and click the button to create the account you will get the Please select a state from the States pull down menu. message.

 

Now select the sachsen as the province/state/zone or whatever it is called in Germany and click the button to create the account......Wait for it.........Please select a state from the States pull down menu. Its that error again!!

 

If any one has a clue as to why this happens please let EVERYONE know as i see this on a lot of sites and this is not the only zone it happens for, but this is the one i have been testing with.

 

By all means try this on my site www.eclipserocketry.com but please put the word TEST in the account name somewhere so i know i can remove it later.

Just checked the online demonstration and that has the issue too!! so i guess unless you have fixed it or put a module that has fixed it we all have the problem!!

Well i did not find what was wrong but i did find a solution just apply the contribution 2028
