I have used osCommerce before at my job but am thinking of using it for a family member who wants to start an online store. Can anyone refer me to some good (and economical) hosting companies for php/mysql as well as your opinions on the easiest/most economical payment merchant? When I set one up for my company we used verisign but I'm wondering if PayPal would be more economical ?
