What unit are the shipping weights in

When I enter product descriptions, it asks for product weights.

 

What units are the product weights in?

The weights are in Kilograms (at least in my version) but I'm sure that a work around is possible if you want to use other units

The weight is in whatever unit you want it to be, lbs, kilograms, grams, pounds or whatever. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that your shipping provider and your shipping tables use the same unit. Where ever you see a textual thing like lb(s) you just have to change that, textually, to your unit of weight.
