jmarinac
Hi Wishmaster: I am having exactly the same problem - installing OSC for the first time on an XP Pro box (for practice). I too installed PHP 5 and can't get past the 2nd install page - where the browser hangs with the address: http://localhost/catalog/install/install.php?step=2 after clicking the continue button. It appears there is a problem navigating to the next php script (install_2.php) that exists in the \templates\pages folder. Before I go off on another excellent adventure (getting php 5 installed was an adventure!) - is the fix for this to uninstall php 5 and install php 4 instead? Just double checking. TIA for your help! ok peepz i have found the problem  i have php 5 and its not compatible <_< sorry for the topic, i user the search not good  Topic close? Please ANY of YOU(s) ... HELP US here to move further .... I am really new to all these kind of things. What username and password shall we need to use for the first page?
