Fatal error - tep_image() when clicking 'categories' on main page

I've been unable to find others with this problem in the forums. My store main page opens beautifully but clicking on any link in the Categories box leads to this:

 

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_image() in /home/ccheek/public_html/index.php on line 13

 

Oddly, the error page generates from this URL (which is definitely not mine):

 

http://americasart.net/index.php?cPath=2 Is that normal?

 

I'm not sure if the error is in catalog/includes/configure.php or in catalog/index.php. I don't understand the language of the error well enough.

 

And I absolutely have no idea what ccheek is all about!

Also, when I work on the catalog in my admin page, images are not attaching and this error is appearing:

 

Error Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /home/skase98/public_htmlimages/

 

Are these two errors related somehow?
