Urgent help needed for easy problem

Hi, I am fairly new around here and have already made a stupid mistake. I didnt back up files as I added contributions and changed other things such as deleted right column, took out languages option.

I am sure a seasoned veteran will be able to pick out where the glitch in code is. I have a reacuring comment symbol appearing in the bottom left of all product listing pages.

I know I didn't close the comment or something but for the life of me cant figure out which file it is.

Any help is greatly appreciated here.

when you click on any category you will see underneath "Categories" there is a stray "n"

also bottom left you will see "-->*/"

without looking, if there is an 'n' there, i would venture to say you have been editing with the osCommerce File Manager, thus you need to go find them in your code and replace with \n

It looks as if the -->*/ is coming from your catalog/index.php, immediately after the "include right column" almost at the bottom of the page, above your footer.

Wow, that was fast, I got rid of the comment (thank you soo much viviennes)

I am using Filezilla for file transfer. the "n" still appears on top. I will provide the code of index.php

Reread Mibble's post and then actually tried it, and what do you know it works
