Pink Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 I have completed an osCommerce based retail site. The problem now is how to service wholesale customers, as this is the company's main business. Creating a new wholesale site copied from the existing retail site with prices reduced is tempting, but this would necessitate double entry as products are added, removed and so forth. I have taken quick looks at a number of contributions which could service both retail and wholesale customers, including Separate pricing per customer, Group Discount, and Total B2B, but I am not sure which one would be the best choice. Some of my criteria for installing a modification: Admin tasks would be easy to use; the end result would be bug-free; the customers' needs would properly taken care of. This is an important decision for both me and the store's owner, and therefore any relevant feedback would be greatly appreciated. -Pink
1Putts Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Pink, May I ask which contribution you ended up using? I'm looking for a reseller/wholesaler type of discount module that applies percentage discounts based on the TOTAL cumulative sales from a particular customer/reseller. Ideally it would be multi-tiered - something like up to $5,000, 0%, $5,001-$10,000, 10%, $10,001 - $15,000, 15% and so on. I've looked at the TotalB2B and a few others but I want to make sure it works before installing. I know I've seen a contribution that will do something like this but for some reason, I can't find it now. Thanks for any insight you can provide.
