clum Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Hi all I'm new to all this and seem to have got through installation at least almost the first time ! I have now broken the categories menu on the catalog index page, it now seems to link nowhere and do nothing. Any suggestions as to how i might go about mending it? / replacing it? (links just refresh the index page) hope someone can help many thanks
♥Vger Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 As this is a new site just upload the file set again. If that doesn't work then you need to check your configure.php files to see if they are set up correctly. Vger
clum Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 I have added a pile of categories, so i would be reluctant to have to upload images and the like again, - where would i find the configure php files in question, and what should i check. The menu i fear is associated with a different incarnation of the page. I made a backup at some stage and think the menu is from a stage which now doesn't correspond to the categories of product i now have. stupid i know, but i was trying not to end up in this scenario! Its been rearranged a little, but not much has changed, would this sound like the cause?
parsnipsius Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 You can find the configure files in catalog/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php Check all the paths are correct (they point to your correct folders)
