But last night i used the file manager through admin panel and now i cant see my site????????? Please can someone tell me i havent lost everything i have done???
parsnipsius Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 1) Have you backed up all your files/database recently? 2) If you give us your web address or at least give us some idea as to the errors you are receiving we might be able to help you.

All you need to do is to restore the file you edited with the File Manager with an unedited copy of the same file and your site should come back. If you haven't already done so you can download the default osCommerce 2.2 MS2 zip file from www.oscommerce.com, unzip on your computer, and in the catalog folder is a complete list of fies. Vger

I haven't backed up the files.. I know dumb newbiee.. www.natural-nurture.net is the website address. It hasnt given me any errors just wont load pages?

Hi vger I have tried to put the file back through cuteftp rather than using file manager but thats not worked? If i download the 2.2ms2 file will this give me a clean file?

♥Vger Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Also, don't use Cute FTP. It used to be a good little FTP programme but lately a lot of people have been having problems with it. Try the 30 day trial version of WS FTP Home (www.ipswitch.com). This is a reliable FTP programme. Vger

Sweets0765 What do you mean "it hasn't worked"? Did you manage to upload/overwrite your old one and it is still not displaying correctly? Is the english.php the only file you changed with the file manager? You will need to replace ALL files that you changed with file manager..

I have extracted the original english.php and uploaded it through file manager again and it still isnt displaying the site? Oh my god thank you vger..
