orders and how to change information box

I have two questions:

First- I have finally finished setting up the store and placed a test order. Now where do I go to find this order.

Second- On the index page there is a box called information. It has shipping and returns, privacy notice, ect. Where do I go to change the text for these? Or should I just not include them on the site?

depending on the country you live in, you have laws for some of these to be displayed. text for the links is in includes/languages/english.php, the text itself on the pages can be edited in the folder english, filename same as in catalog.

 

to see an order by a customer, go to admin - > customers box, 2nd link is orders.

 

you should also specify in admin - configuration -> my store the extra email an order is sent to as the customer automatically receives an order email but you only if you specify an email address there ...
