At the moment my oscommerce shop is under www.myaddress.com/shop but I want it to just be www.myaddress.com, I've already put thousands of products on the site, does anyone know how I could transfer this over? Bearing in mind I'm a newbie at changing oscommerce & html / php etc. Thanks. Moving code around should not cause you to lose any data, since most of it is stored in a database. You should backup your database before you do anything (it's good practice whenever you make any changes). You will need to keep your site structure the same, but move all directories down to the root directory. Then, you need to edit includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php to reflect the new site root location.
