Jimbowsk
Hi, I've been searching, searching and then searching a little more for an answer to what should be a straighforward question so I'm hoping that you guys could help me out as I can't find anything on the forums! All I need to know is how to set a flat shipping rate for UK shipping and a flat shipping rate for International shipping, please help as I desperately need to configure this on my site as I'm losing cash on international orders!! TIA Bowsk
Brian-Bear
Bump I need this too: something that picks up on the delivery country would be good and charges a preset shipping price
radders
If you want a flat rate of shipping regardless of weight you can still use the zones.php program. Set it up with two zones each with a single shipping rate and a weight of 0.01. Come to think of it your would still need 4 zones to accomodate all the country codes as they have to be listed individually. I'm sure there is a contribution out there that allows you to set a default zone that all non-listed countries belong to.

I've had the 'Multiple Shipping Rates' contribution installed which can provide the customer with the option of Postage to the UK and Ireland or International. The contribution is installed but I'm having a tough time configuring it, it just won't seem to show up in the admin panel - been through the Readme doc several times, I think maybe i'm just a bit stoopid!! ;)
radders
I am just testing out the 'zonesworld' contribution which I have set up as GB, IE and some others, Other Europe, Rest of World Pretty straightforward but removing the old zones entries in the database proved more difficult than expected as the remove button had no effect. The GB entry should be something like 999.0:5.00 rather than what I mentioned above.

Jimbowsk
Hi ... I am looking for the exact same thing. Any luck, Bowsk? I'd appreciate help from any member of the community. Many thanks in advance. Cheers Randeep I've had the Multiple Table Rates contribution installed and this can be configured to exactly how you want it. Unfortunately this STILL isn't showing up in my admin panel for me to configure despite all the necessary PHP files being in the correct directories! So to answer your question, use the Multiple Table Rates contrib - and if you can get it to show up in your admin panel, please let me know how you did it!!
