A few questions

I am new to osCommerce and really like it better then what my old host had to offer but I am having a few questions. My store is at www.rosedesignsonline.com/osCommerce

1) When you first go to the store it has all the "default" info. How do I change this?

2) On the right hand side you will notice that it lists the language box- how do I delete this and also when ppl look at products how do I get rid of the box where the language image used to be?

3) When customers check-out will there be a space for them to pu in comments? We have a product that can be personalized with many differnt things so I don't want to list each of them on the product attributes.

1 - By default info, do you mean what is displayed on the home page? If so, then read that text and it will tell you what to edit. If you mean the default info like store name and email address, then that is changed in the admin section.

 

2 - Find the following in includes/column_right.php

include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'languages.php');

and change it to

//include(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'languages.php');

 

3 - Yes, there is a comments box. There is also a contribuiton that allows you to add text box toeach product so that the customer can add customization to each one. I don't recall the name of it though. Search for product attributes in the contributions section and you should be able to find it.
