Best Wishes Charles :sweating: Hello I would have thought that this was something that would be offered by your psp and that you would need to integrate into your current payment solution.? For example, if your aquiring bank was Natwest, and your choice of pspProtx, then you can activate 3dsecure and vbv and mastercard securecode providing you pass the correct variables via the protx payment module, and that your acquiring bank had set up vbv etc on your account. What is your current setup (in terms of payments/acquiring bank/psp etc? F5

What is your current setup (in terms of payments/acquiring bank/psp etc? F5 Thank you very kindly for your knowledgable, professional and quick reply! We are fortunate to be using the large creditcard clearinghouse belonging to and operated by the Czech Savings Bank < Ceska Sporitelna > [ http://www.csas.cz ] which is part of the ERSTE Bank Group of Austria. As the largest card issuer in the Central European Region, and in a bank group with some 12 million customers of all sizes throughout the region, they are among the first banks to rollout the new security standards and offer a total guarantee on all transactions with no rollbacks. As such, they are both the acquiring bank and the secure payment processor, in cooperation with the VISA Association and MasterCard Association, and issuing banks. This is ultimately cheaper for merchants here, we have found, than having a third party processor. They have provided extensive documetation in English (and Czech), which clearly was prepared in cooperation with VISA and MasterCard, Europe. The underlying technology is partially based on PayPark and Clear2Pay of Belgium, which were in part funded by INTEL Capital in 2002, and some of the solution set was sold both to VISA Europe and MasterCard Europe. The Czech Savings Bank's understandable position is that the instructions/'solution' that they provide can be integrated into 'any shop payment' structure. It is standards based, and is published for widespread professional use, which is ideal for the Open Source community and osCommerce shop owners! As there are already nearly 3 dozen osCommerce shops in the Czech Republic, already, and there will be more, surely, this becomes an most welcome security solution and an osCommerce Community issue for someone who really knows osCommerce and payment modules. As the bank's exceptional quality, advanced clearinghouse service is barely a year old, and they are clearly interested in a widespread merchant base, particularly among small and medium sized businesses (this bank's priority business market for over 100 years, we understand, in addition to its historic 'personal accounts' business) it is understandable that they have not tried to write/commission modules for the dozens of shop softwares out there - as none have really become dominant in Central Europe, where e-commerce is relatively new - and where prospective customers are frankly terrified of online fraud. We are told it is not complicated to implement, but it is not our specialty, obviously. Clearly a proven osC module can and should be modified to include the proper lines. For your reference, we are pleased to enclose the download link to public graphic from the Ceska Sporitelna website ( http://www.csas.cz ) detailing the clearinghouse process, the provided guarantees, and the security factors for both customers and shops. http://www.csas.cz/banka/application?names...ty_3dsecure.jpg Many thanks for your interest and help!
