jzlwz
Hi, I think there was an osCommerce/INSTALL informational file that I accidentally deleted right after I installed the package. In my defense: -It was my first day. -(I was following instructions from my web host forum; must have gotten confused when they said to delete the catalog/install folder.) ;) Sure, sure, you say? Is there any easy way to obtain just that one document without having to re-install several unwanted extra documents along with it? Can it be posted here so that I can simply copy & paste it into a new file, or is that not a good idea? How important are the contents? Crucial or not? Thanks to whoever can help.

jzlwz
If you got an error, which is that error?Cheers, Jack Thanks for your reply, Jack. No error. I just deleted an eensie-weensie file named INSTALL and realized after the fact that I deleted the wrong one. It was an informational file, like extras, CHANGELOG, FAQ, LICENSE, README, STANDARD, TODO and the tep_database.pdf that are all loaded just below osCommerce after your initial installation. You know, the ones you don't need to store on the server? I am just starting with this stuff, and am concerned I might need to look at it some day.
