Carlito Posted October 6, 2005 Posted October 6, 2005 Hi folks. New here, well actually I have been a long time lurker reading posts. I am running CRE loaded 6.15 on Windows 2000 IIS, with MySQL 4.1 and PHP 4.4.0. For the most part, everything works great and I don't have any issues except for something I just noticed today. When I enter a test order, I notice that the amounts for shipping and tax are not shown on the final Order Totals screen. I reviewed some other posts about similar problems, and I triple checked all my Tax and Shipping settings. Everything is fine.. in fact, I can remember a time when I never encountered this issue. I am now wondering if perhaps this issue surfaced since I upgraded to newer versions of PHP (4.4.0 too new for oscommerce/cre?) and MySQL (ie. 4.1x instead of the 4.0 code level)? I can't say that for sure, but this is the only thing I can put a finger on, as nothing in my config has changed (none that I recall anyways). Has anyone else experienced such a problem where the only price that shows on your order totals page is just the subtotal of the item prices? This is strange, any input would be helpful. Thanks alot.
Carlito Posted October 7, 2005 Author Posted October 7, 2005 UPDATE: This was caused due to product weight being 0. Once I used a value of 1 or more, the shipping and tax totals started to appear on the Order Totals page. In case anyone searches on this issue in the future, the solution is documented here.
